Areas Served: Greater Cincinnati area including Kentucky, Indiana, and Southern Ohio. Pat Meier, owner of Creative Interior Redesign, received her certification with Lauri Ward, in August 2006. As a certified member of the Interior Refiner Network (IRN), Pat shares her expertise in color, texture, balance and beauty to quickly and affordably transform your house into the home of your dreams. She has a passion for art and design. Having studied fine arts at the Art Academy of Cincinnati she then moved to NYC to acquire her BA in art education from Hunter College. Pat states,“ with a little encouragement everyone has the ability to create a home that is an expression of who they are.” Pat especially loves fabric and textiles. She was a free-lance designer for the home furnishing market in NYC as well as represented other designers. She sold original designs to such companies as Wamsutta and Martex. She also apprenticed as a decorative furniture and wall painter and gilder, and eventually established her own company called Meier Decorative Design. Pat says, "I love interior spaces and believe that everyone can have a beautiful and functional home without spending a fortune." Pat believes in working with what you have and adding additional pieces, if necessary. With her invaluable guidance, your rooms will come alive with a simple rearrangement of furniture, practical design techniques, color consultation, lighting suggestions, accessory and art work selection, and more.
