Areas Served: Southern California Scottsdale and Chandler, Arizona Melissa and Katy each have extensive experience and a recognized talent for interior design and home remodeling. In 2005 they decided to combine their talents and founded Room Stylists - In a Day in order to provide more practical and accessible design services. Both have been trained and certified by Lauri Ward, the pre-eminent designer and founder of the "Use What You Have" decorating method, in New York City. As certified members of the Interior Refiners Network, Melissa and Katy are dedicated and have a passion for helping their clients create beauty, comfort and balance in their homes using what they already own. In addition, each client is given a written design plan to be implemented at the client's own pace. Melissa and Katy continually seek further education in the field of design. Melissa has obtained Gold Member status, within the Interior Refiners Network, for her level of study, involvement and commitment. Melissa also serves as Vice President, is liaison to the Bylaws Committee, serves on the Conference Committee, is a Fashion Contributor to the "Refined Newsletter", and is a member of the Ethics Committee. Katy, a licensed attorney, holds a critical roll on the Bylaws Committee; Chairs the Ethics Committee; and serves on the Conference Committee. Melissa and Katy are active members of Le Gourmet Toast Masters and Executive Association of Long Beach, as well. |
