Areas Served: New Jersey and New York Jeanne's passion for interior decorating evolved over the years as she moved from NYC to Dusseldorf, to London, back to NYC and then on to L.A., Houston, and Reston, VA. She has now come "full circle", mvoing to Maplewood, NJ in 2007 -and is very happy to be "home"! All of these moves taught Jeanne the art of creating a home wherever she was by using and redefining what she had. She realized that she had some talent for this when each of her homes sold withing the first week. So it was only natural that Jeanne would be attracted to Lauri Ward's decorating philosphy. As soon as she discovered Lauri's best-selling book, "Use What You Have", she knew that she had found her mentor and went to New York to train with her in December, 2000. Jeanne strated Rooms Redefined in Reston, VA in February 2001, and for nearly seven years she enjoyed working with the wonderfully diverse and well-travelled people who live in the DC Metro area, finding it especially rewarding to work with the wonderful collections of so many foreign service professionals. Back on the East Coast, Jeanne is delighted to have all of the design resources of New York City so close by. She loves the challenge of making client's homes reflect their individual personalities and interests, while at the same time creating rooms that are functional and beautiful. She still travels as often as possible and always comes back full of new ideas from her trips. Jeanne has been enjoying working in New Jersey and New York and looks forward to hearing from you and discussing your decorating needs. She also travels back to DC Metro to work with many of her existing clients. |
