Areas Served: New Jersey and New York Gina Stigi opened By Design Interiors in 1998 after a 15 year career in Visual Merchandising and Store Design at such well known brands as Ralph Lauren and Banana Republic. After years of decorating her own home and the homes of her friends, at the urging of friends and family, Ms. Stigi became a certified member of the Interior Refiners’ Network® and trained personally with Lauri Ward, owner of Use What You Have Interiors ® in New York City, and renowned author of the bestselling "Use What You Have Decorating" (as seen on Oprah and in The New York Times). Transferring her skills from designing stores to designing homes was an easy transition for Ms. Stigi, whose natural talent and passion for design were a perfect combination. The field also prepared Ms. Stigi to be the ultimate expert shopper for her clients, with an uncanny ability to find the perfect resource for the perfect price. Ms. Stigi has since added other services to her core service of rearranging her client’s possessions, and now offers trade access to the full line of Kravet fabrics and upholstered furniture. With an ability to see the potential in every room, she believes that most people have some or most of what they need to create a more beautiful home. All they may need is some professional guidance and perhaps some new fabrics, window treatments, or accessories to refine and dramatically improve their living space. In addition to being a member of the Interior Refiners Network ®, Ms. Stigi is also an Industry Partner of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and a member of the New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners (NJAWBO). |
