Ever since childhood my older sister and I were constantly rearranging our room, then the entire house. This desire only strengthened as we became adults. Now, two of my three sisters and myself all enjoy a career in home decor. Proof that it's in the blood is now confirmed. My 7 year old daughter is constantly rearranging and organizing rooms when she is on a play date, and the mothers are thrilled!" There is nothing that inspires Courtney as much as creating a warm, comfortable and functional space for her clients. "Good design is not only beautiful, but practical as well". It is absolutely imperative that the homeowner be present during the consultation, because without their input, one never knows what transpires in the room. I love hearing clients tell of how the room feels more comfortable, functional and "a place we hang-out". Courtney feels privileged to have trained with Lauri Ward in New York City in 1999. Lauri is the pioneer of one-day decorating and has appeared on "Oprah", "Good Morning America" and various other television shows. She is also the author of "Use What You Have Decorating" and "Home Therapy" With Lauri's principles and Courtney's innate design sense any room can be transformed to an inviting retreat. |
