Areas Served: Metropolitan Atlanta and the Grand Strand area of South Carolina from North Myrtle Beach to Georgetown Having completed an intensive course of study with Lauri Ward in New York, Alison became a certified member of the Interior Refiners Network in 2007. She has worked in the fields of residential and commercial interior design and garden design, and has designed residential spaces across the east coast from Massachusetts to Georgia. Her homes have been featured in several regional home tours benefiting local organizations in both Atlanta and the Grand Strand area of South Carolina. Alison began her work in residential interior design after completing a 20 year career in creating and directing university auxiliaries. She holds a BA in English with teaching certification, post-graduate work in world literature and linguistics, and is a Master Gardener. The philosophy embraced by Lauri Ward and the members of the Home Refiners Network has a particular appeal for Alison, who believes that every home should reflect the style and taste of its occupants, and not that of a decorator or designer.
